Bomoko Refugee Support Network (BRSN) is a pioneering, Refugee-led coalition founded in 2026 in Uganda. It unites five Refugee-Led Organizations (RLOs) to shift the paradigm of aid from dependency to self-reliance. The name "Bomoko" means "Unity" in the local language, reflecting our core philosophy that collective strength is the most effective tool for overcoming systemic barriers facing displaced communities.
Bomoko BRSN is headquartered in Kampala, Uganda. Our programs reach refugee communities across multiple districts in Uganda, including Kampala, and other settlements where our member organizations operate.
Bomoko Refugee Support Network was established in 2026 by association of RLO leaving in Kampala, Uganda.

100% of your donation goes directly to our programs. We maintain transparency in our operations. Our programs include livelihood development, health services, mental health support, agriculture initiatives, and advocacy.
If your organization is a Refugee-Led Organization (RLO) operating in Uganda, you can apply for membership by contacting us at membership@bomoko.org. We review applications based on alignment with our values, community impact, and commitment to collaboration.
Members enjoy: access to funding opportunities, capacity building and mentorship, networking with other RLOs, collective advocacy and visibility, shared resources and best practices, and technical support for organizational development.
We offer three core programs: (1) Capacity Building, (2) Sustainable Fundraising, (3) Advocacy & Human Rights. Each program is designed to address specific needs of refugee communities.

We welcome volunteers! Visit our Get Involved page and fill out the volunteer application form. We have opportunities in teaching, mental health support, administration, IT, translation, and event organization. Both local and remote opportunities available.
Not necessarily! While some roles require specific skills (like counseling or teaching), we also welcome volunteers with enthusiasm and willingness to learn. We provide training and orientation for all volunteers.
Yes, Bomoko Refugee Support Network (BRSN) is a registered coalition of Refugee-Led Organizations operating in Uganda. All our member organizations are duly registered with relevant authorities.
